Consign your gown
A £7,200 gown listed on a general resale platform typically clears at around £1,500. That is not a market price. It is what happens when a dress is photographed on a wire hanger and sold as fabric.
We photograph it properly
Your own wedding photographs are the listing. We ask your photographer for permission, credit them on the page, and list them in our directory.
We document it
Measured, condition itemised and photographed, provenance recorded against your original receipt. Buyers trust what they can see.
We sell it in a room
By private appointment, to a bride who came specifically to try it, with a tailor there to show her what it can become.
| Under £1,500 | 50% |
| £1,500 – £3,000 | 55% |
| £3,000 – £6,000 | 60% |
| Over £6,000 | 65% |
Photography, condition report, authentication, cleaning where it is needed, insured storage and the appointment are all included. You are paid on the Friday of the week the buyer’s cancellation window closes, not monthly, and not when we get round to it.
What we take
Designer gowns, under about four years old, worn once or not at all, professionally cleaned or cleanable. If you are not sure, ask; we would rather see it.
About your photographs
Your wedding photographs are what sell the dress, and they belong to the photographer who took them rather than to you, so we ask them, not you. Every image on this site is credited, and photographers who let us use their work get a free listing in our directory. If yours would rather we didn’t, that is completely fine.
You can withdraw your gown at any time before it sells; it comes back to you and we settle what has already been spent on it. After it sells, you can still ask us to take your photographs down, at any time, and we will.
